More than 5,000 people have signed up to receive access to the most up to date information on Colorado's wildlife and its management through the DOW Insider.

The Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) launched the DOW Insider in December in an effort to streamline the public's access to information on DOW issues. By signing up for the DOW Insider, the public receives e-mails containing information on hunting, fishing, wildlife watching, all aspects of wildlife in Colorado and its management from the DOW.

People can sign up for the DOW Insider for free by going to the Division home page at http://wildlife.state.co.us, clicking on "personalize this site" and then on "sign up for my DOW" and filling out the personal information. People can chose to receive information from several different categories including "fishing", "habitat", "hunting", "threatened and endangered", "Wildlife Commission Action", "viewing" and "general" which will include all of the information sent over the Insider. People can also chose a combination of categories. Once the information is saved, the person will receive e-mails containing information pertaining to the categories they selected.
